Yeyy, the boy said he'd play with me over the summer, when we're both significantly less busy.
I am all sorts of excited for a few reasons: we're in a long distance relationship at the moment, and playing together makes for nice hanging out time that isn't aim or the phone. We can kill things together! He actually got a trial account right around the same time I did back in November, but he let it run out. "This is too addictive." Heh. As you can see, I stayed. This is also exciting cause I've been wanting to roll a new character, but I haven't had anybody to level a new char with. I don't really like questing by myself; I did 47-60 solo on my lock since she was really fun to play at that point, the lure of Outland (HELLO HELLFIRE PENINSULA ENSLAVE EVERYTHINg IN SIIIGHT), I grouped with a fun troll shammy for my 50's, and many friends are waiting for me at 70. All the alts I created on my server are failed Blood Elves (long since deleted, I cannot deal with their emotes, their run, and their idle animations), or just...toons I started playing around with to get a feel for the class, but couldn't bear to level out of the starting area alone. Waugh tangent. But yes. Now I am all excited and trying to figure out what server to roll on (join RL friends that don't play on my home server? Try PvP? Exciting possibilities!), what classes/races we should play. (I love playing Horde, but the Draenei are quite appealing; the ladies are pretty and the dudes look hilarious.) He's definitely a pewpew mage, so I'm thinking I'll roll something that can tank and/or heal. We want to be fairly self-sufficient duo. Pally is out if we're playing Horde side....I'm thinking of rolling a shammy or druid. Then again...mages have pretty good crowd control, so perchance I can roll priest and go shadow? Ideally, I'd just be rolling a lock again, we could use the blueberry as a tank for a while...hmm.
I love it. I can babble about this junk forever, but I am very much looking forward to hanging out with him in Azeroth and RL over the summer. It cannot come fast enough.
